Chad Fortenberry with TechTown Realty was absolutely amazing! He went above and beyond what normal realtors do. As we were searching for a home for our daughter to live in during college, he knew that safety was our number 1 priority and made sure that we were able to find a home in a very safe neighborhood. Unlike most realtors, Chad knows a lot about construction and he pays attention to detail. He was constantly looking at all of the details at each house he showed us. If there were red flags, he pointed them out and steered us away from multiple houses we liked, which saved us lots of money in the end. He was extremely organized and always let me know in advance what documents would be needed and led us through the entire process, taking away a lot of stress. We were looking to purchase a home in Lubbock while living in VA, and after doing some research on area Realtors, I felt like Chad was the best connection for us, and I'm glad I did. He was quick to respond to requests, he provided a virtual walkthrough on homes we showed interest in, and provided exceptional insights into the local market. When we locked in a particular home, he moved quickly to get a contract submitted and helped move the process along in spite of issues of non-responsiveness on the part of the seller's agent. After closing, he secured the home and keys and held those until we could get into town a couple weeks later, going above and beyond in keeping the property looking good, mowing the lawn, watering the lawn and the numerous plants left behind by the previous owner. He provided insights into the various services and utilities for the Lubbock area, which is a significant difference from the way things function in our home area. I would highly recommend him to any home purchaser, especially those who may be doing long-distance transactions.
